Hi people,
A few months ago I bought a 2010 Q5 3.2 FSI. It’s an US version but exported to the Netherlands. From factory it’s trailer hitch prepared so I thought let’s put a swing away trailer hitch on the car. I made a detachable cover and mounted the secondhand but original trailer hitch to the car including the handle on the left hand side to operate the hitch and the rack + electronic box on the right hand side. Then my problem arose: in the car there is only one connector (Red) to connect to the electronic box and the cable from the hitch connector only reaches 10” into the rear of the car. There is also no wire on the left hand side to power the green LED.
Can anyone tell me which cable I’m missing maybe with the correct part number?
